Better late than never....Happy Thanksgiving to you all. I know I'm a little late on that, but I'm out in T-Dot (Toronto) right now. I was able to enjoy quality time with some family and got a chance to do some reminiscing. This is where it all started for me, the first team in the NBA who believed in me. I was drafted back in 2005 by Toronto and now approaching my 10th year in the league....here we are. Tonight we face a really good Raptors team that is playing some strong basketball. We have a tough battle ahead, strong we stand.

It's crazy to see how Canadians already celebrated their Thanksgiving (back in October) but for us Americans, Thanksgiving was just celebrated. And allow me to say, I have a lot to be thankful for...
My Little Man: My son, CJ. We got to spend Thanksgiving together, which I'm so-so-so dearly appreciative for. My heart lights up every time I see him.
Wife To Be: Michelle and I just recently got engaged and I'm thankful she said "yes".... not like I had any doubts lol ;)
The Mavs: The organization is first class. I love my teammates and coaches. I am thankful & blessed for the opportunity. Also thankful for our offense machine that's been running well (more on this offensive juggernaut that we have become in my next post, stay tuned).
I wanted to keep this one short because hopefully everyone is spending time with their families, being thankful and safe and gearing up for a great thankful weekend to come. I'll end with this saying, which is a verse I've lived by and I always shared since my college days at UConn....this is something that I've even placed on all my pages of my website (http://www.charlievillanueva.com):
